ABOUT THE PLANTATION
This coffee is grown in the shade of old walnut trees and guava trees, in the Amazonian province of Rodriguez de Mendoza, also known as "Peruvian Capital of Organic Coffee".
Harvested at altitudes of 1600 meters above sea level, it grows largely on slopes and enjoys a humid and tropical climate, with temperatures varying from 18 ° C to 25 ° C.
The months of March and April bring a lot of rain which helps the coffee trees to better endure the summer months while impacting the flowering and promoting the ripening of the coffee cherries.
Farmers adopt the very best agricultural practices such as the use of machetes to promote soil conservation as well as the use of organic fertilizer.
