About Our TAG* Roast

With over four decades of expertise in green bean selection, roasting, and cupping, our TAG Roast (Torrefazione Artigianale Granito) is crafted to bring out the fullest potential of each single-origin coffee. Through a meticulous roasting process, we achieve the complete caramelization of the sugars in the beans, unlocking their rich, complex flavors. This artful transformation relies on the perfect balance of expertise, passion, intuition, and the keen insight of our Master Roaster.

About The Plantation

This coffee grows on a long mountain range in the Wahgi Valley, located in the province of the Western Highlands.

Thirty thousand years ago, the Wahgi Valley had the most advanced agricultural practices and social organizations in the world. Today, the descendants of these early farmers still use the same technologies developed by their ancestors and follow the highest quality standards to produce this exceptional grade AA coffee.

Coffee cultivation remains the main source of income for farmers in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, thanks to the fertile soils.
