ABOUT THE PLANTATION
These coffee beans originate from Penas Blancas located in the central region of Nicaragua.
Grown on a plantation that has existed for 70 years, the estate allows 670 families to work both during the harvest season and during the off-season. Today, many households still very much depend on coffee production.
Coffee was introduced to Nicaragua in the mid-19th century on the Pacific coast. Coffee being the country’s largest exported product, growers work passionately and systematically to improve their infrastructure and farming practices.
