Few teas are as instantly recognizable as jasmine. Lift the cup and the scent arrives first: soft, sweet and floral, drawn from real jasmine blossoms. Our Jasmine Flowers is a whole-leaf green tea scented the traditional way, layered with fresh jasmine until the leaves take on its perfume. It pours a warm golden cup and makes a quietly fragrant moment of an ordinary afternoon.

Tasting Notes

The aroma leads, full of sweet jasmine blossom, and the taste follows it closely: smooth and gently floral, with the soft, grassy base of green tea underneath. It's delicate rather than perfumed, balanced enough to drink through the day, and the finish is clean and lightly sweet. A little colour shows in the cup, a clear, warm gold.

The Scenting

Jasmine tea is made by scent, not by added flavouring. Jasmine flowers are picked and held until evening, when they open and release their fragrance, then layered with green tea leaves so the leaves slowly absorb the perfume. The process is repeated over several hours to build depth and balance. It's patient, traditional work, and it's what gives real jasmine tea its character.

Brewing

Heat fresh water to 75–85 °C, below boiling, and steep 2.5 g of leaves (about one teaspoon) for 3 minutes. The leaves will give a gentle second cup if you steep them again.
