ABOUT THE PLANTATION
This coffee is grown in the shaded rainforests of the very famous Baba Budan mountain range.
Due to the geographic position north of the tropics and the moderating influence of the ocean on the climate, the mountain slopes of southwest India enjoy ideal conditions for coffee production.
According to legend, Baba Budan (a pilgrim) introduced coffee to India by planting beans from Yemen in the mountains of Mysore.
The name "Mysore Nugget" was created by Westerners to distinguish premium grains produced in various parts of India.
