ABOUT THE PLANTATION
This remarkable coffee from Indonesia offers you a unique flavor of democracy and freedom. Grown proudly by the farmers of the Coop, in a natural environment without insecticides or pesticides on a rich volcanic soil surrounded by wild vegetation, it is of a nobility that demands to be recognized.
From hectare to hectare, working from one sunrise to the next, around thirty families from the village of Watujaji come together in a cooperative. The name of their collective project: "Sinar Tani" / "Peasant Light". Here, everyday life draws its inspiration from a wisdom inherited from ancestors of a "matrilineal" tribal culture, that is, property belongs to women and is passed from mother to daughter.
This is the unique flavor of Arabica coffee from the island of Flores, a world to discover!
