Marshmallow Bliss

Marshmallow Bliss is hot chocolate at its most playful – Dutch-process cocoa and golden cane sugar, blended in Montréal and scattered with little vegan marshmallows that soften and melt into the cup. Around the chocolate are warm notes of cinnamon, almond, and caramel, the kind of cozy, spiced sweetness that belongs to cold afternoons and early-dark evenings. It comes without milk, so the cup is yours to build – whole milk for richness, oat or almond for something lighter. Stir, and watch the marshmallows do their thing.

Suggested Uses

This one's for the cold-weather ritual – a snowy afternoon, a movie night, a mug shared with someone small. Top with extra marshmallows if the moment calls for it. For a mokaccino, stir a shot of espresso into the finished cup.

Preparation

Add 2 rounded tablespoons (25 g) of hot chocolate powder to 200 ml of cold milk. Heat or froth the milk, then whisk until smooth and creamy. Top with extra marshmallows if desired.
