ABOUT THE PLANTATION
These magnificent beans are imported directly from a plantation located in Santa Cruz on the Galápagos Islands where the law strictly prohibits the use of fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides and all other chemicals.
Originating from organically grown coffee trees that benefit from an exceptional microclimate, ripe Santa Cruz coffee cherries are harvested twice a year: once from November to February and once from August to September.
The cherries are then transported to a special site where they are washed, and then dried on patios in the sun.
