Colombia Pink Bourbon is a unique and rare coffee variety that blends the renowned Bourbon cultivar with the rare Pink Bourbon mutation. Known for its distinctive pink-coloured cherries, this coffee thrives in Colombia’s high-altitude regions, including Huila, Nariño, and Cauca. Grown at altitudes between 1,500 and 2,000 meters, the slow maturation process enhances the complexity and depth of flavour, producing a cup that is both vibrant and balanced.
The coffee is processed using the washed method, where the cherries are de-pulped, fermented, and washed to remove the outer fruit. This method preserves the coffee’s natural bright acidity and allows the floral and fruity notes to come forward clearly, delivering a clean, crisp cup.
Flavour Profile
Expect a floral aroma with prominent red berry and tropical fruit flavours. Delicate hints of jasmine round out the cup, while the smooth, velvety mouthfeel and lively acidity offer a refreshing and well-rounded experience.
