ATLAS Orange Cranberry

Orange Cranberry is a warm, fruity cup built on South African rooibos, with bright orange peel and tart cranberry folded through. Rooibos brings a naturally sweet, smooth base – red in the cup and completely caffeine-free – while orange and cranberry lift it with citrus zest and a berry tang. A cozy, any-time infusion, as welcome after dinner as on a cold afternoon.

Tasting Notes

The cup pours a deep red-amber and smells of orange zest and cranberry. Rooibos leads with a soft, honeyed sweetness and gentle woody warmth, and the fruit does the rest – zesty orange up top, a tart cranberry edge just behind. It's smooth and round, with no bitterness and a natural touch of sweetness, so it rarely needs anything added. Good hot, and lovely iced with a slice of orange.

Built on Rooibos

Rooibos comes from the red bush of South Africa's Cederberg region and isn't a true tea at all, which is why it carries no caffeine. It's naturally low in tannin, so it stays smooth however long it steeps, and its mellow sweetness makes an easy partner for fruit.

Brewing

Bring fresh water to 90 °C and steep one tea bag for 5 minutes. Rooibos is forgiving – it won't turn bitter if you leave it longer, so steep it as strong as you like. For iced tea, brew it stronger and pour over ice with a slice of orange.
