The story of Earl Grey Tea dates back to the early 19th century, when it was first crafted for Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey. It was presented to him by a Chinese diplomat, blending the finest black tea with bergamot, a citrus fruit cultivated in Italy. This remarkable tea quickly became a favorite among the British aristocracy and continues to be a beloved classic to this day.
