Ingredients (serves 4)
- 5 cups (1.25 L) water
- 2 ARIEL Tea 100% Sencha Japanese green tea bags (5g)
- 1 stalk of sliced lemongrass
- 1 cup (250 ml) frozen edamame beans
- 1 large carrot, sliced diagonally
- ½ tsp (2 ml) sea salt
- ¼ tsp (1 ml) black pepper
- 500 g boneless, sliced chicken breast
- 1 cup (250 ml) cooked brown rice
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) sesame oil
Steps:
- Prepare broth: Boil water, remove from heat, and steep tea and lemongrass for 10 minutes.
- Cook vegetables and edamame: Remove tea and lemongrass, bring to a boil, add edamame, carrot, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add chicken and rice: Incorporate chicken, rice, and sesame oil, and simmer for 2 minutes before serving.
