If a cinnamon bun fresh from the bakery is your idea of comfort, this is the cup that bottles the feeling. Cinnamon Bun pairs dark Dutch-process cocoa and golden cane sugar with warm cinnamon and the sweet, doughy note of fresh-baked brioche and icing. We blend it in Montréal, and it comes without milk, so the cup is yours to build – whole milk for something rich, oat or almond for something lighter. It's sweet, spiced, and unapologetically cozy, like a Sunday morning in a mug.
Suggested Uses
This is the weekend-morning cup – lovely with breakfast, or as the warm treat after a cold walk. It pairs beautifully with anything cinnamon-adjacent, from toast to a slice of coffee cake. For a mokaccino, stir a shot of espresso into the finished cup.
Preparation
Add 2 tbsp (15 g) of hot chocolate powder to 1 cup (250 ml) of hot milk and stir until smooth. For extra froth, fill your cup halfway with hot milk and stir to dissolve, then froth the remaining milk and combine.
