ATLAS Fruit Basket

Fruit Basket is exactly what it sounds like: a generous mix of berries and orchard fruit in a bright, ruby-red cup. It's built on hibiscus and a long list of real fruit pieces – strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, cherry, apple, mango and more – so every cup is fruity, tangy and naturally caffeine-free. Lovely hot on a cold day, or over ice when the weather turns.

Tasting Notes

The cup is deep red and smells like a bowl of summer fruit. The flavour leads with a bright, berry tartness from the hibiscus and currants, softened by sweeter strawberry, mango and pineapple underneath. It's juicy and refreshing, with a clean, mouth-watering finish and no bitterness. Full-flavoured enough to enjoy as it is, and it makes a beautiful iced tea.

A Basketful of Fruit

There's a lot going on in here, and that's the point. Alongside the berries sit apple, grape, banana, pineapple and mango for sweetness, beetroot and carrot for body and colour, and little lifts of citrus, sea buckthorn and lemon myrtle to keep it fresh. Together they taste like fruit at its ripest.

Brewing

Bring fresh water to 90 °C and steep one tea bag for 3 minutes; with no tea leaf here, it won't turn bitter if it sits a little longer. For iced tea, brew it a touch stronger, then pour over plenty of ice.
