Green is exactly what it sounds like: a clean, everyday green tea for any time of day. The leaves are cooked soon after picking to keep them fresh and green, giving a light, smooth cup with a gentle grassy character. It's easy to drink, refreshing hot or iced, and a simple pleasure to keep on hand.

Tasting Notes

The cup pours a pale, clear green-gold and drinks light and smooth. Expect a fresh, vegetal green-tea flavour – cut grass and a soft, slightly sweet finish – with only the gentlest edge and no heaviness. It's mellow and refreshing rather than bold, easy to enjoy plain, and just as good chilled over ice on a warm day.

Fresh and Green

Green tea stays green because it's heated soon after harvest, which stops the leaves from oxidising and locks in their fresh colour and flavour. That's what keeps this cup bright and grassy rather than dark and malty like a black tea. It's a straightforward, well-made everyday green – nothing added, nothing fussy.

Brewing

Heat fresh water to 90 °C and steep one tea bag for 2 minutes. Keep the water below boiling and don't over-steep, since green tea can turn bitter if it's brewed too hot or too long. For iced tea, brew it a little stronger and pour over ice.
