ARIEL Strawberry Sencha

Strawberry Sencha turns a smooth green tea into something bright and summery. A base of whole-leaf sencha is blended with real dried strawberry and a scatter of rose petals, so the cup comes out fresh, fruity and gently floral. It's light and easy to drink – lovely in the afternoon, and made for iced tea once the weather warms up.

Tasting Notes

The cup is pale gold and smells of ripe strawberry and roses. Sencha gives it a soft, grassy-green backbone, the strawberry brings a sweet, juicy fruitiness, and the rose adds a delicate floral lift on top. It's smooth and mellow, with very little astringency, and finishes clean and fragrant. Sweet enough to enjoy on its own, and refreshing over ice.

Strawberry & Rose

The base is sencha, a smooth, steamed-style green tea kept fresh and grassy. Blended through it are pieces of real dried strawberry and whole rose petals, which soften the leaf and lift it with fruit and flower. It's a gentle, pretty blend – as much about aroma as flavour.

Brewing

Heat fresh water to 90 °C and steep 2.5 g (about one teaspoon) for 2 minutes. Like any green tea, it can turn bitter if brewed too hot or too long, so keep both gentle; the same leaves give a good second cup.
