Suggested uses
Matcha lattes and smoothies are the most common applications, but this powder performs equally well in baked goods. Shortbread, financiers, and noodle doughs all benefit from its colour and mild bitterness. Dissolve it in a small amount of warm water before folding into wet or dry recipes for the most even distribution.
Preparation
For a standard matcha latte, whisk 1 tsp (about 2 g) with 60 ml of water at 75–80°C, then top with steamed milk to taste. Culinary grade holds up to stronger ratios than its ceremonial counterpart - adjust freely.
