ARIEL Tropical Rainforest

Tropical Rainforest is a bright, fruity escape in a cup – deep red, tangy and full of tropical flavour. A blend of apple, papaya and coconut is lifted with hibiscus and rosehip and scented toward mango, pineapple and passionfruit, so every sip tastes like ripe tropical fruit. It's caffeine-free and just as good iced as hot.

Tasting Notes

The cup is a vivid red and smells like a fruit market: sweet papaya, coconut and a rush of tropical mango and pineapple. Hibiscus and rosehip give it a juicy, mouth-watering tartness, while apple and coconut round it out with mellow sweetness, and lemongrass and lemon balm keep the finish fresh. Full-flavoured without being heavy, it makes a gorgeous ruby-red iced tea.

A Tropical Blend

The base is a fruit-and-flower blend – apple, hibiscus, rosehip, lime-tree blossom and lemongrass – with real papaya and coconut for tropical body. Over it sit the flavours of mango, pineapple and passionfruit, which give the blend its ripe, exotic character. A cup that tastes like the tropics, with no caffeine.

Brewing

Bring fresh water to 94 °C and steep 2.5 g (about one teaspoon) for 5 minutes. With no tea leaf here, it won't turn bitter if it sits longer, so steep it to taste. For a knockout iced tea, brew it stronger and pour over plenty of ice.
